South Park dispute

In the 200th episode of south park the creators made an episode where they depicted the Prophet Mohammed disguised in a bear suit. Muslims were offended by this because a site called "Revolution Muslim" threatened to kill the creators if they keep making fun of the prophet. So a portion of the episode was bleeped out and has never been aired since.

I believe that it was offensive, but i still think that the Muslim people overreacted. Its just a t.v. show. Southpark makes fun of people all the time because its funny. People need to stop over reacting and just laugh with them they are just entertaining America. And in my opinion they are doing a very good job at it.

Young to fat to fight

In this generation the ammount of child obesity has raised greatly. So much that there has even been an issue to weather or not these kids can fight for out country. More than a quarter of young adults cannot meet the physical requirements to join the military. This is resulting in a national security threat. Ex-military leaders say that this needs to change and that it is a wake up call for America.

I agree with what this passage states. Kids now a days are so much unhealthier and obese that they don't have a chance to make it into the military. Im not saying this will happen, but the way i see it if people dont change now America may not have enough soldiers to fight and it may result in another draft and i don't think that thats what we want. It is indeed a wake up call for America maybe because of this people will start to realize how unhealthy America really is.

Earthquakes of 2010

Throught this whole year there have been many Earthquakes. Probablly the most rememberable would be the ones in Haiti and Chile. These disasters have affected everyone around the world and there are still more huge quakes happening. These countries suffering from the disaster need help and support to get back on track and rebuild many areas. Some people even believe that these are a significance and may be a sign that the world is ending.

I dont believe that the world is ending, i believe that there is probablly some scientific explanation for why this is all happening which i wont go into right now. I agree that the countries need support and i believe that we should help the ones that are rather more "poor" countries rather than countries that could support themselves.

Paying for facebook

There have been rumors going around that by July 9th 2009 facebook users are going to have to start paying to have a facebook account. They say by this date facebookers will have to pay 14.99 a month to have an account. Many people are refusing to continue to use facebook if this goes through.

I believe that this is completely unecessary. I have a facebook account and i enjoy not paying for it. 14.99 a month? thats a very high price. I will probablly no longer use facebook anymore if this goes through i think it is the stupidest idea ever. But i also believe that it is also a rumor and nothing more, because Facebook completely denys these claims and i dont think they are lying.
